Boerne ISD’s Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) is an innovative, open-enrollment high school focusing on cyber security. This program of study allows students an opportunity to receive both a high school diploma and a credential and/or an associate degree. The hallmark of the P-TECH model is its career focus and the provision of work-based education.

This project consists of the construction of a new lobby and concessions addition within the existing
McMullen County Independent School District gymnasium. The building facility includes a expanded
lobby with direct views into the gymnasium with the use of a glass wall that is 15’ tall x 92’ wide. The
addition also includes a new entry, ticket office, vending area, rest rooms and support facilities.

With an effort to consolidate both gymnasiums in a single building, the existing practice gymnasium is to be demolished, and a new competition gymnasium inclusive of athletic locker room areas, coaches’ offices and weight/mat room will be built adjacent to the remaining gymnasium. The existing competition gymnasium will be renovated and converted into a practice gymnasium with associated PE locker rooms and coaches’ offices.
Site upgrades and improvements will include sodded/irrigated football field, new walking path with outdoor learning opportunities, perimeter site fencing to properly secure the campus, and new overlay/striping on all existing parking and drives.

Designed with security and transparency in mind, Northside ISD’s latest new elementary incorporates active and passive security features.
Nestled in a fast growing community-friendly neighborhood in northwest San Antonio, the new facility will welcome pre-K thru 5th students in the Fall of 2021. The school will incorporate multiple campus amenities such as a media center, gymnasium, cafetorium, science and art rooms.
The new 800 student elementary school was designed in association with Garza Architects as part of NISD’s 2018 bond.

Glenoaks Elementary School was built in 1961 and opened with 375 students. The original campus included 4 “pod” buildings with 4 rooms in each pod, an administrative office and a cafeteria.
Over the last 59 years, Glenoaks ES has educated literally thousands of NISD students who have made an impact in their community and beyond.
This next phase of replacing the library and updating classrooms comes after the completion of the new Administration building (2017). These upgrades will surely ensure the success of students of Glenoaks elementary school well into the future.
